Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

When can I enrol my child/children at OCS?

We enrol students throughout the year and there is no closing date for applications.

Children may be enrolled in Prep from birth, and confirmation will be given the year before they start school. Kindergarten to Year 12 enrolments are processed as they are submitted.

What age can my child enrol at OCS?

Children enrolling in our Prep program must turn 4 before the end of July in the year they start. Our Prep program is designed for the year before children start Kindergarten.

We recommend children enrolling in Kindergarten turn 5 before the end of March in the year they start.

Who do I contact if I have questions?

Contact the School Registrar for any enrolment questions and to arrange a School Tour.

What should I expect in the enrolment interview?

The interview is with the school Principal and Registrar and discusses the core values of the school. It’s also an opportunity for parents to tell us about their children/child and ask any questions they may have.

How long does the enrolment process take?

We process enrolment applications throughout the year and stay in close phone and email contact with families once we receive an application.

How will I know if my child has been accepted into the school?

After the enrolment interview, we contact you over the phone to inform you if the enrolment has been accepted. An acceptance letter will also be sent to the family.
